Compute! Gazette began offering "Companion Disks", floppy disks with the contents of the issue's data, with the May 1984 issue of the Gazette. The companion disks ended publication in February 1995.
July, August, and September 1990 had no published disk or magazine issues; This was due to the fact that the last official stand alone Compute!'s Gazette issue was published in June 1990. After a three month publication hiatus, Compute!'s Gazette consolidated and appeared as an insert starting with the October 1990 issue of Compute! Magazine.
Each of the disks are in .d64 format, a Commodore-compatible disk format, with an indication of what issue the image came from.
